Keep your eye on the schedule! Check out the The Boston Globe Jazz and Blues Festival 2000! Take a break form swing and enjoy the sounds of Ray Charles, Toni Lynn Washington, Susan Tedeschi, the Brian Setzer Orchestra, John Scofield, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band just to name a few. This event will be coinciding with the Boston Lindy Invasion.

Here's the latest update! Saturday night and late night dances will be held at Arlington Town Hall. Check the schedule for more information!

- New events! Take a look at he schedule:
We are adding an event on Saturday afternoon...There will be dancing at MIT from 1-5pm, $5 Dancing will take place in MIT's La Sala De Puerto Rico, a gigantic room with air conditioning and a slippery slippery SLIPPERY wood floor. La Sala is located in MIT's Student Center (84 Massachusetts Avenue, just across Mass Ave from MIT's "main entrance"), 2nd floor.

Also, there will be late night dancing after Swing City on Friday from 1:30am-4am, but we won't announce the location until that weekend.

- PLEASE NOTE: As of June 25, 2000 Bluellen will be at Beantown for both weeks, so if people who are signing up for housing during this time don't hear back from her right away, not to worry! She will have email access, but not a lot of time. Please be patient and you will be accomodated!

Bluellen is back from beantown! Housing is very full and extremely limited. Please email her before Wednesday July 12th at noon with your housing requests and she will try to accomodate you. Those of you who have made contact already will be receiving your housing assignments this week. Any requests after Wednesday may not be accommodated.

Local lindy hoppers, if you can house an out-of-towner, please email Bluellen with your full address, phone number and number of people you can house. Any floor space is greatly appreciated! Thank you! Over 90 people are coming.

The pot luck has been cancelled but there are free activities (blues/jazz music) in conjunction with The Boston Globe Jazz and Blues Festival 2000 on the Esplanade!
