Fairman, CMI recently recorded in University of Maryland’s Class Notes Jennifer Elizabeth Fairman (1995) recently accepted a position at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine located in Baltimore, MD as an Instructor in the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine. Jennifer worked for the UMD Department of Communication Services as an illustrator and graphic designer during her undergraduate studies. It was December 2001 that I received a phone call from the Saint Louis Zoo. Liz Reinus, an Interpretive Exhibits Coordinator in the zoo’s Education Department, called regarding a new exhibit the zoo was in the midst of ground-breaking called “Penguin and Puffin Coast.” The zoo had already hired an architect and an outdoor exhibit designer to begin building a new facility which would house several species of penguins and puffins.
